DEM SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENT OF CORN GRAIN GRINDING PROCESS

To improve the working performance of hammer mill, cutting-edge and oblique were designed in this study. The advantages new hammers theoretically analyzed. grinding process corn grain with different was studied by discrete element method (DEM) experiments. Discrete simulation results showed that under same rotor speed conditions, had highest bond-breaking efficiency model. could reduce incident angle sieving efficiency. motion trajectory chamber relatively dispersed similar when using common hammer, more concentrated used. experimental both mill. productivity mill be improved electricity consumption per ton temperature rise feed reduced consistent theoretical analysis results. research can provide references for design other agricultural materials.
